[Solved, please ignore] Issues running parallel through VPN

Hi,

I am have trouble trying to run a parallel simulation using my university's VPN to access the license server. I can start a serial simulation just fine, but when I try to start up a parallel sim (local host) I just get this in the output window:

Starting local server: starccm+ -server -cpubind -np 16 -rsh ssh "[sim file location]"
"C:\Program Files\CD-adapco\13.02.013\STAR-CCM+13.02.013\mpi\platform\9.1.4.4\windows\bin\mpi run.exe" -aff=automatic:bandwidth -np 16 "C:\Program Files\CD-adapco\13.02.013\STAR-CCM+13.02.013\star\bin\starccm+.exe" -xtmpdir C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\star-b52fb032-68b0-4296-8e87-92dd0480c820 "[Sim location]" -cpubind -xmpiversion 9.1.4.4 -node
mpirun: Drive is not a network mapped - using local drive.

...and it just stops - nothing else happens. No errors or anything. If I try running a parallel sim without connecting to the VPN, it continues just fine setting up until it checks for the license server (which it cannot access since I'm not on the VPN).

I have previously found a way past this by connecting to the VPN immediately before it checks for the license server, but this is difficult to time and rather irritating.

Any ideas? I've checked that all the star client and server executables are allowed through windows firewall, have run star as administrator, and have reinstalled several times in different locations to no avail.

Many thanks
