Hello there,

So I imported a .stp file on Star-CCM+, and my goal is to modify some of its parameters to fit my simulation geometry.

I have managed to import it using 'Import using Surface Mesh', and the CAD is displayed in the Parts node. This is expected, however I would like to edit it, hence I'd like to put it in the 3D-CAD Models node. From my inquiry on the web, I only saw one person who managed that by a simple click-and-drag, which didn't work for me (pointer becomes a stop sign when I hoover over). Otherwise, I haven't found any other similar cases.

Any ideas? (Perhaps there's an obvious solution, I'm a rookie )

Best,

Soto

Ok here it is:

Under 3D CAD-Model, right-click on the top option and select import. However the chain of commands on the left weren't displayed since it came from another software.
