Loading user code in Windows

Hello,

I compiled a user code (*.so) in Linux using the command :

gcc -fPIC -shared *.c -o libuser.so

Can I load the generated libuser.so file into Star CCM+ on a Windows machine ?

When I do that, I am always getting this error of memory access violation. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Yogesh,

as the manual indicates this is not possible.
You have to compile the user library on the windows machine separately.

With some further studies of the differences between unix and microsoft world, you will get to know why.

Anyway, recheck the StarCCM manual, it also explains how to compile the library for windows from its source.
