Hey

I have a complex structure model, and i’m new to star-CCM+ I want to model a non thermal equilibrium model since my model needs two energy equations one for the solid and another one for the liquid. I don’t know what are the steps so I can model a non thermal equilibrium model?.

Thank you

Hi,

1. Make 2 region. one for fluid and other one for solid.
2. Make 2 physics continua. one for fluid and other one for solid.
3. Make 2 mesh continua.one for fluid and other one for solid.
4. Set each physics and mesh continua
5. Make interface for energy transfer.

Good luck!
