Importing Plot 3d Mesh -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

PierceH Member Pierce Join Date: May 2019 Posts: 39 Rep Power: 6	Hello, I'm trying to import the mesh of the Onera M6 wing from the following NASA website https://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/wind/va.../m6wing01.html The author states that the m6wing.x.fmt is in plot3d format, however the .x.fmt part is not one of the file types that can be imported. It is later mentioned that this is converted into a run.cgd file however this cannot be imported either. Any clarification or direction would be appreciated. Thank you. I saw that changing file type from .x.fmt to .x allowed import to work. Last edited by PierceH; June 10, 2019 at 13:17. Reason: FIX
