Hi everyone,
i am simulating steady state aerodynamic heating distribution around a blunt body at M=2. (wall temperature is 300 K and air is ideal gas, turbulence model is SST K-W) Effect of Y+ on the heat flux distribution is attached. I see that Y+ should be around 1 or higher than 30. (in all of the simulations all y+ wall treatment is used). What are your comments? thank you. What about if y+ is lie between 5 and 30.? |

What about the rest of the mesh? Would you consider the resolution of the near-wall mesh outside of the first cell for these cases equivalent?
