Part body is not closed and manifold

Hello,

I am working on a bike simulation and I am knew to CFD.

I have imported the bike through import surface mesh and when I want to perform subtract Boolean operation from a block, it shows the error 'part body is not closed and manifold'.

This error show even shows after looking into the surface repair tool and finding no pierced surfaces. I don't understand.

Help is greatly appreciated :):).

Regards,
Kotabhi

It sounds like a problem with your CAD model. You have to give more details in order for anyone to help you. Post an image or something to help us understand what you are starting from and where you are trying to go.

Hello,

you can have a look into the CAD model. I have attached them. My purpose is to visualize the airflow, velocity, pressure scenes and shear stress on the surface.

Please let me know if you need more information. Help will be much appreciated :):).

Yeah.. It looks that CAD have so many problems.
You have to redesign CAD model
First, you should make CV(Control volume for external flow)
Second, all surface should be closed (looks not closed surface many..)
Third, all surface shouldn't pierce each other

CAD Model

Thank you.

I understand. However, they are no pierced edges when I tried to repair the model. There were a lot of free edges though. This error was the same after this step too.

Please let me know if there are any further or other ways to solve this problem.
