Applying a location Based Gravity
 

Hi,

I am trying to simulate flow and I would like to apply a formula (filed function) for the gravity option. My formula states that the value of the gravity is dependent on the local position, varying along the my vertical direction.

However, when I apply any formulas for the gravity in which the gravity should be calculated based on other position of, receive an error.

Is there any way to apply this type of formulas to STARCCM+?

you should be able to do it by setting gravity to zero and applying the required forces as a momentum source
