Freezing Velocity Flow Field

Hello,

I want to be able to freeze the velocity flow-field while still calculating the pressure for these velocity conditions on STAR CCM+. In my inquiry, one of the developers mentioned the 'Great Source Method' however no documentation is available on this matte. I was hoping someone would have experience maintaining a velocity flow-field while calculating the Pressure.

Thank you.

Isn't that velocity and pressure fields inter-dependent ? (from Navier Stoke's Momentum equation)

How does this works exactly?

So I'm essentially wanting to solve the inviscid pressure for a viscous flowfield. The pressure fields are coupled. If you set an appropriate momentum source term you can recover the desired velocity field.

Essentially the idea is a source term can be added to the RHS of the momentum equation. You make this quantity so much larger than the rest of the terms so that it works on solving this rather than the rest of the equation you have.
