Hi,

I am studying turbulent flow around heated cylinders aligned one after another. I am able to simulate the flow and get reports. I made Nusselt number (Nu) reports for each cylinder and created monitors and plots from them. Once the simulation is done, I export the plots to MATLAB for the analysis I want to do.

My issue is that the plots dont show the value of Nu at each timestep. My timestep is 0.005s but the values in the exported files go up in steps of 0.03

I don't know how to fix this since I need to use the proper timestep in my MATLAB analysis.

Is it possible to fix this? Or is there some truncation that Star automatically does when plotting values from reports?

Thanks!

i imagine you are exporting monitored values from your reports and thus the problem is probably the trigger setting in the monitor not being set to your required setting of time-step
