Incomplete writing to .csv files during parameter sweeps

Hey everyone!
So I'm running some parameter sweeps on STAR-CCM+ and exporting velocity data to a .csv for each parameter set. I'm noticing that for some sets of parameters the .csv files are incomplete, i.e. don't record the velocity for the full range of points in the mesh. If I run a single simulation with only those parameters, though, this doesn't happen. It almost seems as though, while doing the parameter sweep, STAR-CCM+ doesn't have enough time to finish writing the files? In case it helps, I'm running on AWS, not a local machine. I've tried adding more cores but that doesn't help. I've thought maybe assigning too many cores to STAR-CCM+ causes the parameter sweep to run too fast, hence not giving enough time to finish writing some files. Any and all help appreciated, cheers! |

are you using design manager to do the sweeps and reporting?
maybe run on less cores and even in serial and see if it happens - easy to do in design manager. it could be that the results from some cores are not being sent back quickly enough to the master node for post-processing. if you save all the .sim files from the design manager runs then you can run a macro locally that loops thru and opens each and does the csv file write. |

Yeah running a macro locally would be one way. I'll try running with less cores. Thanks mate!
