Is it possible to do such analysis for a ship paired with it's propeller in star ccm+ ?

yes this is a common analysis and to do it you set the rotating prop region as moving relative to the moving ship’s moving body coordinate system in the tools menus

Yes in fact marine applications are very good implemented in STAR-CCM+.
