Dear all,
I need to specify pressure (I have a table of values for inlet pressure corresponding to cartesian coordinates) for my velocity inlet. The Velocity Inlet boundary condition on STAR-CCM+ only allows the user to specify Velocity and Temperature (amongst other inputs such as Turbulence Intensity etc.) Does anyone know how I can include a table of values for inlet pressure? Thank you! mnws |

You can perhaps try to assign a stagnation inlet or pressure outlet for your velocity inlet.
Your outlet can act as a inlet if it has more pressure than the region surrounding it. Then import your table and assign it. Or perhaps, if you have the equation for the pressure (for example it increases x over time which will be linear graph) you can create user function. Try stagnation inlet first tho I'm not very familiar with it so physical wise not sure if it will make sense. Better give it a shot tho! |
