Creating a Plane for performing a mass flow average report

Hi everyone,

I did a 2D nozzle analysis and I want to obtain the average mach number value at nozzle exit.

When I asked my supervisor, he told me that first I should create a new plane at nozzle exit and go to Report->Mass Flow Average->Functions->Mach Number->and select the plane that I created.

Because my analysis is in 2D, I couldn't create a plane so I tried to draw a line. But after I drew that line, I couldn't see it in parts tab or curves tab.

What should I do ?

if you create a derived part > plane in a 2D model it will create a line.

if you still don't see the plane in your derived parts tab, then you probably didn't define the various inputs correctly.
