Hi,

I am new to STAR-CCM+ and I can't figure out how to use the following function to define my time step:
(${Time} <= 1.5 ? 0.001*${Time}+1e-4 : 0.0015)

I've tried entering the function under the solver but I get an error since I assume it expects a numeric value. How would I go about using a function instead?

Thanks

That usually works well.
Did you create a field function and used it in the time strp control - or just used that expression directly there?

Thanks for the response. I think it may have been a syntax issue after all
