Mechanical Co-sim coupling of Abaqus and Star CCM+ error

I'm trying to run the plate tutorial for abaqus and star ccm+ mechanical co-sim and get the following error:

Error starting the Abaqus executable: plate.log not found.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

found out, I had specified the abaqus executable file wrong
