Hi , can some one help in resolving this in StarCCM.
Consider a busbar(copper/Al) in Air Environment. Size 30mm length 15mm width and 2mm thickness, which has three holes, first hole is near left edge, second hole in the middle and third hole near right corner Applied 50A current in first hole, want to measure current in Hole-2 and 3 - due to Current density and material resistance, the drop in electric current in hole-2 and hole-3 need to be calculated. |

What problem do you have exactly?
Make the busbars with the holes, apply the current in hole #1 and measure current in #2 and #3 with a report of probe point. Also, you will need to introduce some loss somewhere or the current would be the same if I am not wrong... |
