Periodic boundary condition setting

Dear all,
I wanna simulate a flow circulation, so I set the Inlet (velocity inlet boundary) and Outlet (pressure outlet boundary) as a pair of periodic boundaries.
But as this simulation running, the flow velocity keep decreasing. I wanna make the velocity keep the value I set.

Is there anything I missed?
Any information will be appreaciated.

Thanks.:)

Fully-Developed Interface. Mass Flow Rate there.

Hi, I set a velocity inlet (with a constant velocity) and a pressure outlet (with zero pressure), and create periodic fully-developed interfaces on inlet-outlet and give a constant mass flow rate. To my understanding, this prescribed mass flow rate would be maintained during the calculation. But will the type and value of inlet and outlet would have any effect on the simulation? It seems that all the setting of periodic boundary would overwrite the previous settings. Thanks!

Yes, Interfaces override boundary conditions at Boundaries.

Thanks for replying! A follow-up question is for periodic inlet and outlet boundaries, if the periodic interface will overwrite other settings, how to appropriately apply and reflect inflow condition, such as a parabolic velocity profile, in the simulation? Thanks!

Velocity profile would be a result of the simulation.
