Hi,
I've been using the Fire and smoke Wizard addon. The tutorial comes with experimental data validation on the temperature and velocities further away from the fire. But how do I know the fire is correct when creating a simulation from scratch? The temperature greatly changes depending on the fire volume region since max HRR will be achieved no matter the fire region size. Is there a recommended height for the fire volume region? Does someone happen to have a way to calculate the HRR input into HRR/mē? Perhaps a study of Fire Dynamics Simulator and Star-ccm+ fire comparison? Kind regards Oliver C |
