Leo OB is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone.
I'm trying to simulate the rise of a Taylor bubble in a vertical pipe filled with stagnant water with Starccm+. On that purpose, I initially defined an air column under a water column (see attachment). The bubble forms at the beginning of the simulation and rises to the top of the tube. The experiments show that it is supposed to get a little longer during the rise but the one on my simulation keeps shrinking. I don't have any idea why it behaves this way.
Here are the main physic models I used: 3D - VOF - Eulerian multiphase - K-epsilon turbulence - gravity.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
