Hello all;
I just signed up for this site, so forgive me if I posted this in the wrong place. I frequently run StarCCM on a cluster that uses PBS for work and never had any problems with scheduling jobs. Now I have to run it on a cluster for academia that uses SLURM and am having some issues. I have the job being split across several nodes and it appears to check the license out, then it gives a username error (see attached). I have never seen this error before, is anyone familiar with it? My execution call within my job scheduling submission is: nohup $STARDIR/starccm+ -rsh ssh -batch $BATCHFILE -np $NCPU -machinefile $MACHINEFILE $SIMFILEPATH Where BATCHFILE NCPU MACHINEFILE and SIMFILEPATH define the java batch script, number of cores, list of nodes, and the simulation file.
