Hi All
I am currently simulating air flow through the lungs and have set-up swirl reports at a number of sections through the airways. However, as I am using an unsteady simulation, the data resets every timestep. Is there a way of tabulating or plotting this data overtime? I have currently set-up monitor plots which update every timestep but this makes the output window very cluttered as I have 10 swirl reports. I have heard you can use simulation history but I have found that the simulation can only be set to a specific state (timestep) and so does not tabulate the data. Any advice would be much appreciated ![]() |

You don't have to plot all 10 monitors in one xy-plot. You can also have 1 xy-plot for each monitor or any other possible combination.
You can also export each monitor into a csv file and do the plotting with another program. |

Thanks for your response.
What I mean when the output window is cluttered is that the output which monitors residuals after each iteration is now cluttered with other monitors such as swirl. Just wondered if there was a better way of doing this. I also have some velocity line probes which record the velocity distribution through the airways. It would be great to see how these change over time but they reset after each timestep. |
