Splitting regions

Hi all,

Ive imported a surface mesh of a complex piping system in star ccm+. When i import the model to star ccm+, the program automatically creates approximately 1000+ regions and boundaries. The regions are too small and thus ive decided to import the whole geometry as a single region and split it afterwards. However again when i try to split it (by angle) i end up with the same problem i.e. thousands of regions and boundaries.

The model contains 2 inlets and 20 outlets and i would like each of these inlet/outlet regions to have their own independent boundaries. What is the easiest way to do that?

Kindly revert back soonest as i have to hand in the report asap.

Thanks in advance.

King_Steve.

If you're splitting by feature curves, then use only the feature curves where you want to split the regions, ie, edit feature curves, then create new feature curves from the existing ones where you want your regions to be.
