Grid generation
Hi
I am using Star ccm+ for a project on flat back airfoils and its just a 2D analysis . How to generate grid using Star ccm + and is there any criteria for creating a fluid domain around the airfoil prior to grid generation? Can anyone please guide me on these issues ? Thank you, Sen |
There are two ways how to obtain a 2D-mesh.
1) Import a real 2D-mesh. 2) Create a 3D-mesh and convert it into a 2D-mesh. But be sure that your 3D-mesh has got the correct position, because CCM+ always convert the XY-plane (Z=0) into a 2D-mesh. Best regards, Max |
