2D case

Hi,

I'm trying to model a 2D case including the volume of fluid model with waves.

can i change the mesh after conversion to 2D? And can i use VOF-Waves in a 2D case?

regards

Michael

I don't know about 2D and vof waves. But when you have converted your mesh to 2D, you can't make any changes anymore. You have to change your 3D mesh and convert it to a 2D mesh again.

Just a hint: When converting the mesh to 2D, deselect the option "delete 3D mesh" (or whatever it's called, don't have an open Star-ccm+ now). Disable the physics continuum for the 3D region.
That keeps your 3D region available to make any changes, mesh it and convert it again.

Cheers
