Hi All,

I want to change the erosion rate from kg/m^2-s to mm/ year or or m/ kg. can anyone help??

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Hi Alan,

mm/ year = density(kg/m3) * kg/m^2/s / (3600*1000)

(check the units one more time to be sure)

Hi AdrienL,

I am also modelling erosion in star ccm+ but my concern is I am trying to simulate one
of the experimental results.
Problem is experiment was done 24 hrs as geometry will be keep on changing and every 2hrs author took reading of erosion in mm/year.

How can I model for such a long time please suggest

PS: Using morphing we can change the geometry based on the erosion rate
