Finished simulation doesn't start: floating point exception [Divide by zero]

Hello, I'm new at this forum and hope for some help..

I cannot start my saved simulations (one case with a number of different simulations, with different geometry).

After the server connection instead of loading the simulation I get this errow:
A floating point exception has occurred: floating point exception [Divide by zero]. The specific cause cannot be identified. Please refer to the troubleshooting section of the User's Guide.
Command: Unknown Command
In: [Machine::main]
error: Server Error

The same errow if I start Simulation File or .sim~-File.

Unfortunately I have no idea what I can do, since I even can not start the solution to change anything.

Really hoping for help at this point.

Max,
what version are you using ?
I had the same issue with 6.02.007 and 6.02.009. It seems to be a new undocumented feature. Going back to 5.xx solved the problem, unfortunately you have to do everything all over again.

Lorra, thanks for your quick answer, now I have an approach for the solution

I'm trying to open the database saved by 5.02.010 with 5.06.010 & 6.02.009.
I will try to get the 5.02 somehow (not more downloadable on the CD-Adapco homepage

)

What did you mean by "do everything all over again"? Couldn't you start and use your simulations with an older version in your case?
Did the errow disappear then?

I started from scratch in 6.02.007, so I had to do all over in 5.xx.
Just assumed you are in the same situation.
