Mechanism in Star CCM+

What would be the best way to model a mechanism in Star CCM+? The model has already been created in ProEngineer. The mechanism involves a casing with inlet and outlet holes where a constant water pressure of 50 psi will be at the inlet hole. Inside will be an axle with a turbine and cam fixed to this axle. The goal is to observe the fluid motion/gain data. (The cam acts as a valve which opens and closes the outlet hole.)

I'm very new with CFD and I'm not sure how complicated this will be to set up. How do I ensure the cam and turbine will spin with the axle? How do I set up the boundary conditions?

Any help is much appreciated--whether it be a link to similar tutorials or general instructions on how to approach this system. Also, if further clarification is needed, do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you
