Hi,
I'm trying to apply a multi-component fuel to an engine-model in proSTAR 4.18.
Therefore, I click in the pro-STAR menu bar "Advanced" > "IC Setup" and choose for the ECFM-3Z, spark for example the fuel-components gasoline1 and ethanol. When I try to apply the setting via "Write data" > "Apply and close" I get the following error message:

` **ERROR - NO MORE THAN 10 NESTED LEVELS OF *IF/*ENDIF ALLOWED
LOOP IS PREMATURELY CANCELED

Since pro-STAR does the job automatically there is nothing I can change in the script-code. If I only configure a single-component fuel the error won't occur.

Any ideas how to solve this?

One question. Are you using the ES-ICE to build your model? If yes, you must change these variables direct in the es-ice.

Yes, es-ice is used to build the model. But there are several other problems if I change the fuel properties in es-ice under Star Controls > Analysis Setup to a multi-component fuel.

For example, the multi-component fuel in es-ice consists of 90% gasoline1 and 10% ethanol. But in pro-STAR only gasoline gets a scalar entry. Besides, there is only one chemical scheme under chemical reactions. It seems to me, that the second component ethanol is not considered in pro-STAR.
