I'm having the following issue: The pressure rise upon ignition is highly unphysical. It's a partload case with a highly stratified charge. So I tried adding the RKLIMIT value (to limit kernel size) to the extended data segment as recommended by the User Manual, but for some reason star doesn't recognize that value and ignores it.

I added the following to the extended data segment:
RKLIMIT
0.001

In the manual it says I'm supposed to add it in the ecfm section, but there is nothing else in there and no specific section (within extended data) for ecfm.

Any ideas what's the problem here? I'm working with Star CD 4.18. Thanks for your help!

Update: Some macro obviously overwrote the Extended Data segment, it is working now.

However: It seems like limiting the kernel size to 1mm didn't have any effect at all. I'm trying with 0.6 now (it is initialized with 0.1), but would like to know whether anyone here has any experience and or recommendations for what value should be used.

Thank you!
