Hi all,
I am working on a geometry that is already trimmed but with the old piston. So now I have deleted the old piston and added new piston geometry, selected cylinder and piston to training panel and have cut the 3D template without modifying the 2D template. After creating the 3D template I am unable to cut. When I try to trim it is giving me error as ‘spline was not used to define edges because it has knot (1) that is not on a vertex of a cell in the cset’. Failed to cut the template. Am I doing any mistake here? Pl advise. Thanks in advance. Regards, |

You probably still have splines that were defined by the old piston geometry.
Go to geometry and do sset recall 3 then delete all the splines that were on the old piston, and define your new splines on the new piston. |
