Cell intersection

Hello all,

I am simulating a combustion chamber using the es-ice sector model. I am doing a transient, moving mesh analysis. I am facing an issue with some kind of cell intersection that appears during the piston movement. At some point during the compression stroke, two cells get close to each other. Some crank angle later, they "merge" and this weird layer is created. It does not really affect my simulation, but it remains visible, even inside post-processing. Attached you can see the layer inside es-ice and prostar. I also posted my trimming settings. Does anyone have an idea what may be the matter?

OK i advanced one step. Now i know that this internal boundary is the spot where cells are excluded during compression and inserted during expansion. But it does not work properly still, does anyone have some advice? Also, is it possible to move that boundary upwards?
