setup windows cluster
 

Hi, I need some general advise on setting up windows cluster for star-cd. After that, I will need a consultant/contractor to set up windows cluster for star-cd at my office (working at night or weekends to do this). Please email me with offers. :cool:

General advice - use Linux cluster instead :)

Actually setup of windows cluster is described in the manual - it's in FAQ, section 4 (Parallel STAR). At least for v. 3.26. I don't know if there were any changes in v. 4.x.

The data for STAR 3.26 on Windows is completely out of date. If you want to use a Windows Cluster today then you need to use Win Server 2008 HPC as the base OS for all the nodes. Find a contractor who will do that for you and putting STAR up on it should not be too difficult.
