Star-CD 4 and importing mesh
 

please it is very Urgent

I build my 2D geometry in ICEM-CFD and after this I export the 2D Mesh of this Geometry to solve it in Star-CD 4 but i receive a message that the Star-cd 4 do not accept the 2D mesh importing

i try to use the solver of Star-CD 3.1.0 et Star CD 3.0.5
it was good but there is an other problem that the Star-CD 4 can not read the old boundaries then i have 0 boundaries then i can not define my boundaries in Star-CD4

please if any one have a solution please i am in a waiting

It looks like you have some old version of ICEM-CFD - version 11 has STAR-CD 4 in the solver list.

If you can't upgrade for newer version try searching forum archives - there was a topic about .cel and .vrt file conversion (that's how ICEM exports STAR-CD mesh) between v.3.x and v.4.x.

Well, all the information is in the error message - you can't export 2D mesh from ICEM to STAR-CD, only 3D. In ICEM you can extrude one layer of 3D mesh from your 2D mesh (or somehow else convert it from 2D to 3D) - then you'll be able to export it.
