ANSYS Compression only/Elastic support

Hi,

I was able to simulate a structure using bodies in which compression only support was available. Since thickness is very small compared to the other dimensions of the body part, moved on working with mid-surfaces to reduce computation times. However, I have discovered that compression only support is not available in ANSYS WB (15.0) for surface bodies. Now thinking of using the available elastic support as the bottom boundary condition for the structure situated on a rigid foundation.

Common description of elastic support states imposed stiffness acts only in a direction that is normal to faces.

Is there a way to adjust this condition so that elastic support becomes effective only in compression? Or do I need to seek for another solution?

I have an option in my mind such that I will create a rigid body under the surfaces touching the ground and use fixed support on the bottom face of this rigid bodies.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance. :)
