Hi everyone,

I am looking for the "best practice" in order to solve heat transfer problems.

In fact, I have to mesh some 2D and 3D bodies and solve heat transfer with both mechanical (ansys) and abaqus.

So could you tell me if I can found somewhere information about how to mesh, what element type are illegal etc... this kind of information.

Thanks a lot !

edit: more exactly could I use full tetra mesh ? Or it's best to use hexa ? This is more obvious for me in CFD but I don't know in FEM.
