Hi, I am a student doing my masters degree. I have to start my study project in ANSYS.
 In the above figure, my guide said that the connection between the column and the beam (end-plate with the bolts) can be described as a non-linear rotational spring. He has asked me to guess some more possibilities to describe the connections. I really don't understand how it can be described as nonlinear rotational spring. Please suggest me more possibilities to describe the connection. Thanks in advance. |
