probx is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone,

i just want to design this model in mechanical by using ansys workbench. After finishing all beams and the four joints i wonder how i can implement the longitudinal and tangential stiffness for the pane in the middle. both have the same value with 2kN/cm

until now i connected the beams and the pane with full compund. i think there must be a simple APDL command for assigning an absolute stiffness value...

for the pane i used a shell element and the beams are 2d beams with an assigned square cross section.

thanks a lot

i use workbench 17.1
