Hello everyone,
I am doing some modelling for my Master's Prject using ANSYS v10.0 I am trying to model a 3-layered glass structure with outer layers are glass and the inner layer is void. I tried to implement the code using the command bench but I get this error: ' Element type 3 is not yet defined. Use the ET command to define this element type.' The code implemented is as below: /titel, B02 /prep7 ET,1,shell181 !4-Node Finite Strain Shell Breite = 2.0 Hoehe = 3.0 K, 1,0,0,0 K, 2,Breite,0,0 K, 3,Breite ,0,Hoehe K, 4, 0,0 ,Hoehe K, 5 ,0,0.008,0 K, 6,Breite,0.008,0 K, 7,Breite ,0.008,Hoehe K, 8, 0 ,0.008,Hoehe K, 9 ,0,0.00876,0 K, 10,Breite,0.00876,0 K, 11,Breite,0.00876 ,Hoehe K, 12, 0,0.00876 ,Hoehe A, 1, 2, 3, 4 A, 5, 6, 7, 8 A, 9, 10, 11, 12 KEYOPT,1,1,0 KEYOPT,1,3,2 KEYOPT,1,8,0 KEYOPT,1,9,0 KEYOPT,1,10,0 MP,EX,1,70000e3 !MP,DENS,1,25 MP,NUXZ,1,0.23 R,1,0.008 MP,EX,2,2 !MP,DENS,2,25 MP,NUXZ,2,1120 R,2,0.00076 MP,EX,3,70000e3 !MP,DENS,3,25 MP,NUXZ,3,0.23 R,3,0.008 SECTYPE, 1, SHELL SECDATA, 0.008, 1 SECOFFSET,MID SECTYPE, 2,SHELL SECDATA, 0.00076,2 SECOFFSET,MID SECTYPE, 3, SHELL SECDATA, 0.008, 3 SECOFFSET,MID type,1 type,2 type,3 esize,0.1 amesh,all eplo fini What should I do? This is my first practical experience with ANSYS so I am still in my learning phase. Thank you in advance for your help and support. Best regards, Karim Abulazm, |
