Penetration after impact & debonding

I have a composite of rectangular shape.
It is a simple 5-lamina one.
A drop ball hits it and I want to see the debonding-delamination.
but after delamination-debonding happens, the laminas penetrate each other.
I tried to restrain this by adding frictionless contacts, between the laminas, but then it crashes.

Hi Dimitrios,

What kind of analysis are you using for your simulation. Also how did you define your contacts ?
