Penetration after impact & debonding

I have a composite of rectangular shape.
It is a simple 5-lamina one. A drop ball hits it and I want to see the debonding-delamination. but after delamination-debonding happens, the laminas penetrate each other. I tried to restrain this by adding frictionless contacts, between the laminas, but then it crashes. |

Hi Dimitrios,
What kind of analysis are you using for your simulation. Also how did you define your contacts ? |
