Dear Friends,

I want to have a hexahedral mesh on the trunnion attached to Pressure Vessel Shell instead of tetrahedral mesh.

But irrespective of method I choose to do so, ANSYS shows one or the other error.

Can someone assist me in ensuring that I can properly mesh the Trunnion ?

PFA for geometry reference. Also I would love to explain the problem in depth as soon as someone initiates the solution.

There are many video tutorials on youtube about hexahedral meshing.

The main principle - you should slice the model into many simple, sweepable bodies to help mesher to create sweep hexahedral mesh.
Mesher can not create hexa mesh on complex shape geometry.
