SU2 Installation: Parallel version along with Serial
 

Why can't I have SU2 parallel installed along with serial? The installer throws up an error. I work with Windows 7 64 bit

You only need the exe files.but the problem is that the names are same for s or p version. for example, I changed p version of su2_cfd.exe to su2_cfd_p.exe, and keep su2_cfd.exe for s version only. So these two exe files can stay at one folder. You choose which one you want to run.
But you can not run some py scripts in this way.

Shiraz -Thank you for that note: But I was wondering why the installer would object to a serial version being present and stop the installation process? I could have the option of choosing another folder for || install?

Anyway, you have given me a work around for the time being, I appreciate your time and response.
