Hi. I'm trying to compile v 8.1.0. I type ./meson.py build -Denable-autodiff=true -Denable-directdiff=true --prefix=/home/lozanorc/SU2 and at the end of the process it gives an error:

ERROR: Clock skew detected. File /home/lozanorc/su2code-SU2-a991912/build/meson-private/coredata.dat has a time stamp 29.5643s in the future.

I then try to run ninja and it fails

>./ninja -C build install
ninja: Entering directory `build'
ninja: error: loading 'build.ninja': No such file or directory

Any clues?

it does not build because some timestamps are in the future, you could try to use the 'touch filename' command to set the timestamp to the current time. But there might be more going on here, maybe a clock that is not synchronized using ntp?

Thanks. Yes, that was my understanding. Oddly, the filemane coredata.dat that appears in the error message is not in the specified folder, so I can't do much there. Maybe the problem is with the system's clock. I'll have to talk to the system admin. I thought that perhaps the problem was with some tool not being properly updated and that this might have happened to somebody before.
Regards
