Default Calculating C_l and C_d on the individual bodies in the same domain

Hi,
I am trying to simulate a CFD case where two airfoils of different/same size are present in the domain. I want to calculate C_l and C_d on these airfoils separately. How can I do it? It will be really helpful if you exactly point the part of the configuration file that needs to be changed to achieve it. Thank you.

Hi Shainath,

you can use the AERO_COEFF_SURF group to get the lift/drag for all surfaces in MARKER_MONITORING separately. Also look here for more information on the new output: https://su2code.github.io/docs_v7/Custom-Output/

Hello Talbring,
Thanks for replying. I have gone through the link but could not find the right information. As mentioned in my question, I am using a simple case where two airfoils(e.g. airfoil1,airfoil2) for which I have given the input as

% Navier-Stokes wall boundary marker(s) (NONE = no marker)
MARKER_HEATFLUX= ( airfoil1, 0.0, airfoil2, 0.0 )

% Farfield boundary marker(s) (NONE = no marker)
MARKER_FAR= ( farfield )
%
% Marker(s) of the surface to be plotted or designed
MARKER_PLOTTING= ( airfoil1,airfoil2)
%
% Marker(s) of the surface where the functional (Cd, Cl, etc.) will be evaluated
MARKER_MONITORING= (airfoil1,airfoil2)


The results it shows after the convergence seem to be wrong. Please let me know what has gone wrong in this input. Thank you.
