When I tried to run the tutorial 7 with 4 cores in my computer, there is always an error interrupt the process at the very beginning, with the error information " IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/data/hedaquanhe/tutorial7/DESIGNS/DSN_001/DECOMP/mesh_NACA0012_rot_1.su2' "

I went to the directory and found there were 2 files generated, one is "config_PRT.cfg", the other is "mesh_NACA0012_rot.su2", it is different from that filename informed by the error information with " _1" missing.

When I run it on only 1 core of my computer, it can carry out the calculation though I stopped the process after a few iterations.

Can anyone help me to cope with this problem?

I have the same problem when I try running optimization with cores more than 1.
Have you solved the problem?

I met the same problem. Is it that we should modify someplace in some certain script? Hope for your answers~

Hi all,

We recently updated the code so that all partitioning is completed internal to SU2_CFD, SU2_DEF, etc. This means that we no longer have SU2_PRT as a separate module that writes additional mesh files with their partition number before the .su2.

Can you please double-check your installation to make sure that you're using the latest and greatest version of SU2? It's SU2 v3.2.7 that has these new features:

https://github.com/su2code/SU2/releases/tag/v3.2.7

You might also download the latest version of the TestCases too (just in case)

https://github.com/su2code/TestCases

Hope this helps,
