Hi all,
I'm trying to optimize bluff bodies in unsteady flows at SU2 v6.2.0, and I'm having problems using previous data as restart parameters. I already tested the restart solution for steady flows optimization and it worked fine. When I implemented it with dual time-stepping, the script ignores the restart command and starts using values from freestream. It seems like the script has one kind of "fail-safe" to ignores the "RESTART_SOL=YES" command when it doesn't find the "solution_flow.dat". So I tried using a time step solution from a previous simulation, the script doesn't neglect the restart command, but asks for numbered solutions (e.g. solution_flow_00000.dat, solution_flow_00001.dat, solution_flow_00002.dat, ...). I tried again, this time adding the numbered solutions to the working directory, but again the script stops soon after ending the direct simulation. The log indicates that this occurs because of an index error of the "history_direct.csv". In short, I'm not finding what are the necessary files and configurations to restart this unsteady shape optimization. I would like to know if someone can explain how to solve this problem.
