jainam1259 is on a distinguished road
I am working on flow over periodic span-wise grooves, which has very grid sensitive outputs. I want to calculate gradients of velocity in all three direction, basically the strain tensor. Is there any function in SU2 which allows us to calculate gradients of velocity directly using python or C++ codes?

Currently, I am using Paraview, but it is not giving me the desired output and I feel the interpolation of Paraview adds extras errors. I am analysing flow fields inside the boundary layer and so I dont want to add any extra errors to my solutuon.

I have tried searching over SU2 documentation but didn't come across any functions. There were two methods though, 1, Continuous Adjoint Gradient & 2. Discrete Adjoint Gradient. But when I run the python scripts, I get an error.

Please let me know what can be done.
Thank you
