Shape Optimization BUFFET Constraint
 

Dear community,

I am trying to run a shape optimization taking into account the BUFFET sensor implemented in SU2.

Unfortunately, the simulation crashes right at the beginning(
SU2 process returned error '137'). If I replace BUFFET (with DRAG or EFFICIENCY) it works fine.

In case the option:
BUFFET_MONITORING= YES
also throws an error 'unknown option'.

My question is, has anyone ever successfully used the BUFFET sensor in SU2?

In the meanwhile, I was able to find out that the error is caused by the missing BUFFET_MONITORING option.
Source Code adjusted and it runs. The option seems to be obsolete. However, with each design iteration it is written to the config file.
