Dear,
Is there any friend who try the rigid motion with SST turbulent model on SU2v2.06.
the following is my output on terminal
PHP Code:

------------------------- Solver Preprocessing --------------------------
Initialize jacobian structure (Navier-Stokes). MG level0.
Initialize jacobian structure
(SST model).

-----------------
Integration and Numerics Preprocessing ----------------
Computing wall distances.
Area projection in the y-plane 0.998982.
Setting dynamic mesh structure.

------------------------------
Begin Solver -----------------------------

Performing the dynamic mesh update.
Updating vertex locations through rigid mesh motion.
Delta translation increments (dxdydz): (000).
Delta plunging increments (dxdydz): (-0, -0, -0).
New
pitching angles (about xyz axes): (000degrees.
Delta rotation angles (about xyz axes): (000degrees.

the input cfg file is attached.

Hi Jianming,

At the moment, while we are still validating the SST model a little further, we do not have everything set up in the code for running unsteady flows on dynamic meshes with this model.

If you might be interested in developing some of this capability, please let me know. In the meantime, the S-A model can currently handle this type of simulation. We will be posting more information about the unsteady solver and its validation in the coming months.

Thanks again for using the code, and cheers,
Tom

Dear Tom,
Thank you. Now, I am reading the code of SU2. Thanks for the great job. SU2 gives me a quick and power tool to start my research. In my research plan, I intend to use SU2 to study stall flutter and develop moving mesh method for viscous RANS with different turbulent model at high AoA large amplitude flutter of airfoil. Furthermore, DES will also be considered. You know, in general, it is very hard to understand other people's code and modify it. So I will keep trying and find help from you. Thank you again.

Hi Jianming,

One more update for you... we have also recently spent more time in validating the SST model. It might be worth giving it another try with the most recent version of the code for your unsteady problems, :). Don't hesitate to contact us if you still have problems, however.

All the best,
Tom
